Throughout the event, delegations will be accommodated in facilities selected for their comfort, proximity to the competition venues, and quality of service.
The partner hotels provide services tailored to the needs of athletes and officials, including catering, accessibility, and areas for rest and preparation.

Hotel
Liaocheng Arcadia International Hot Spring Hotel
I. Hotel Overview
Liaocheng Arcadia International Hot Spring Hotel is a five-star hot spring resort integrating government reception, conferences and exhibitions, business and leisure, and wellness tourism. The hotel is located on the southwest shore of Dongchang Lake, covering over 200 mu with a total construction area of nearly 70,000 square meters.


II. Accommodation Conditions
1. Room Configuration
The hotel offers 318 deluxe rooms and suites, including:
- Standard Rooms: Equipped with comfortable bedding, high-speed Wi-Fi, private bathroom, air conditioning, LCD TV, and other essential facilities.
- Specialty Rooms: Includes luxury suites, presidential suites, and an independent VIP building, featuring living rooms, private dining rooms, and executive lounges.
2. Health and Comfort
- Rooms are furnished with eco-friendly materials and regularly disinfected.
- 24-hour hot water and centralized air-conditioning systems are provided.
- Select room types include bathtubs with access to the hotel’s signature hot spring water (advance reservation required).

IV. Location and Transportation
1. Location Advantages
The hotel is located at No. 20 Hunan Road, Dongchangfu District, Liaocheng City (500 meters east of the intersection of Changrun Road and Hunan Road), adjacent to Dongchang Lake Scenic Area, with views to Guangyue Tower and the Water City Grand Pearl Theatre. The surrounding area is rich in cultural and tourism resources.
2. Transportation Guide
- Public Transport: Direct access via K16 and K21 bus routes; approximately 4 km from Liaocheng Railway Station and 3.7 km from South Bus Station.
- Self-Driving Route: From the Liaocheng East exit of Jiguang Expressway, head south on Guangyue Road, then west on Hunan Road for 6 km. Free parking is available.
- Airport Shuttle: About 136 km from Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport; hotel shuttle service available by advance reservation (24 hours in advance).

Cancellation
I. General Provisions
To regulate the accommodation for the 2026 FISU World University Championship Mind Sports (hereinafter referred to as the “Championship”), safeguard the rights of the Organizing Committee and participating delegations, and avoid disputes arising from booking changes or cancellations, this provision is formulated in accordance with the regulations of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and the Championship’s accommodation policy. All accommodation bookings and modifications must be handled through the Organizing Committee; individual participants or delegations are not allowed to book directly with the hotel.
II. Registration Deadline
All delegations must submit their final accommodation requirements through the system designated by the Organizing Committee by 24:00 (Beijing Time) on August 31, 2026, including:
- Total delegation size (athletes, officials, accompanying staff, etc.);
- Room type requirements (number of single and double rooms, special requests);
- Check-in and check-out dates (within the reporting period: October 9–10, and departure date: October 17).
Failure to submit by the deadline will be considered as no accommodation requirement, and the Organizing Committee will not reserve rooms.
III. Final Confirmation Deadline and Conditions
A. Final Confirmation Deadline
The Organizing Committee and the accommodation provider (Liaocheng Arcadia International Hot Spring Hotel) have agreed that 24:00 on September 15, 2026 (Beijing Time), is the final confirmation deadline for accommodation requirements. Delegations must, by this date:
- Confirm or adjust the accommodation requirements submitted before August 31 (including number of persons, room types, number of nights, etc.);
- Provide the full list of guests including name, gender, position (athlete/official), and event information (for room allocation and credential preparation).
B. Post-Confirmation Lock-in Principle
After the final confirmation deadline, accommodation requirements (including number of persons, room types, and number of nights) will form the basis for settlement between the Organizing Committee and the hotel. Except for penalty scenarios specified in Article IV of this policy, no free changes will be accepted.
IV. Check-in and Check-out Information
A. Check-in Time
- Check-in: October 9–10, after 14:00. Delegations may contact the Organizing Committee to arrange temporary resting areas for early arrivals (to be noted at final confirmation).
- Early Check-in: For special circumstances requiring check-in before October 9, written application must be submitted before the final confirmation deadline. The Organizing Committee will coordinate with the hotel based on availability, and the cost will be charged at 80% of the hotel’s daily rack rate (to be settled separately).
B. Check-out Time
- Departure Day Check-out: Before 12:00 on October 17 (standard hotel check-out).
Late check-out charges:
12:00–18:00: half-day room rate
After 18:00: full-day room rate - Late Check-out Requests: For special reasons (e.g., flight schedules, competition), requests must be submitted to the Organizing Committee by 18:00 on October 16. The hotel will prioritize based on room availability; costs are borne by the delegation.
C. Notes
- Valid ID (passport/athlete card) must be presented at check-in, and hotel registration must be completed.
- Room keys/cards must be properly kept; loss will be compensated according to hotel regulations.
V. Cancellation and Modification Penalty Policy
A. Booking Cancellation
- Before Final Confirmation Deadline (before 24:00, September 15, 2026): Full or partial cancellations are free with written notice to and confirmation by the Organizing Committee.
- After Final Confirmation Deadline up to 30 Days Before Arrival (September 16–17, 2026): 30% of the total cost for cancelled rooms.
- 15–29 Days Before Arrival (September 18–October 1, 2026): 50% of the total cost for cancelled rooms.
- 1–14 Days Before Arrival (October 2–8, 2026): 80% of the total cost for cancelled rooms.
- On Arrival Day or No-Show: 100% of the total cost for reserved rooms.
B. Changes to Delegation Composition
- Reduction in Numbers: Treated as partial cancellation and penalized according to the “Booking Cancellation” schedule. Room count or type must be adjusted accordingly; otherwise, charges follow the original booking.
- Room Type Changes:
- 2.1 Single-to-double room changes (reducing single room demand): penalized according to “Reduction in Numbers.”
- 2.2 Double-to-single room changes (increasing single room demand): must be applied before the final confirmation deadline; requests after the deadline will not be accepted due to limited single room availability.
- Changes to Guest Information (name, position, etc., not quantity): Free changes within 7 days before check-in; after that, a €10/person modification fee applies.
VI. Room Allocation Policy
A. Basic Allocation Principles
- Room Standards:
- 1.1 Athletes: double room (2 persons/room) by default
- 1.2 Delegation leader: single room (1 person/room) by default
- 1.3 Other officials: double room based on delegation size and request; special single room requests must be applied during registration and approved by the Organizing Committee
- Isolation Requirements:
- 2.1 Rooms for different countries/regions must be in separate zones; no mixed accommodation.
- 2.2 Within a delegation, male and female members must be on separate floors or zones; no mixing.
- 2.3 Athletes and officials must be accommodated separately.
B. Special Needs
- Delegations may submit a “Special Accommodation Request Form” at registration for specific needs (e.g., quiet rooms for chess competitions). The Organizing Committee will coordinate with the hotel to prioritize suitable room allocation.
- Additional requirements (e.g., accessibility, medical equipment storage) are detailed in the General Handbook of 2026 FISU World University Championship Mind Sports, and delegations must strictly follow the submission instructions.
VII. Other Provisions
- Booking Process: All accommodation requests must be submitted via the designated system, reviewed and confirmed, and a Confirmation Letter will be issued as the check-in voucher.
- Payment and Settlement: Accommodation fees will be settled between the Organizing Committee and hotel; delegations must pay according to the Games’ financial policy (including penalties). Details are in the Delegation Fee Instructions.
- Force Majeure: For natural disasters, epidemics, or other uncontrollable events, delegations must notify the Organizing Committee in writing within 24 hours. Adjustments or penalty waivers may be negotiated.
- Dispute Resolution: Disputes arising from this policy shall be resolved through consultation between the Organizing Committee and delegations. If unresolved, FISU dispute resolution rules apply.
This policy takes effect upon release. The Organizing Committee of the 2026 FISU World University Championship Mind Sports retains the right of final interpretation. Any adjustments will be announced via official channels.
