2026 FISU World University Championship Mind Sports

Richard Turčan, a 22-year-old chess player from Slovakia, won two national champion titles in youth categories and took 3rd place in the blitz event at the World University Chess Championship 2024 (Uganda), when he was 20 years old.

Lucia Ševčíková, a 20-year-old chess player from the same delegation, will also compete at the 2026 FISU World University Championship Mind Sports held in Liaocheng, China.
